Senior Takes Player of the Year
For his outstanding devotion to the club as a whole, and for his extraordinary efforts on and off the field, Senior Goalkeeper Brandon Schneider has been recognized as the player of the year for the LC Club Soccer program.
4/ 28 - Spring Season Ends
The Spring season has come to an end. The club officers have begun the process of scheduling games for next Fall and are looking for other schools and local clubs who would be interested in matches. Please contact one of the officers for more information.

3/ 22 - Champs
In a very close fought match Sunday evening, the LC Club won the championship match 4-2 to conclude the Sunday League matches. John Witt scored 2 goals to keep the club in the match before the club was able to put a few more in the back of the net to seal the win. Brandon Schneider played a brilliant match in the net for LC with vital saves in the final minutes of the game. The club ended the season with a record of 11-1. The LC Club squad will face Liberty University this coming Thursday night at 9:00 PM for a friendly match. The club will also have two more matches in April which will then end the Spring season.
3/ 15 - LC Club Head to Finals
The Men's Club Soccer squad chalked up two victories tonight in the quarterfinals and the semifinals of the men's Sunday league. The club will compete in the league final next Sunday, March 22 on Shellenberger Field.
2/ 23 - LC Club Takes Top Seed For Playoffs
The Lynchburg College Men's Soccer Club finished the regular season play in the men's Sunday league. The club finished with an impressive record of 8 - 1 and will be the top seed going into the playoffs. The first playoff match will be Sunday, March 1 and the opponent is still yet to be decided. The team lost the first match of the season in December before starting an 8 game win streak to end regular season play.
2/ 5 - LC Club Fights Hard In 1-0 Loss to Varsity Squad
Fighting through the bitter cold, the LC Club Soccer Team fought hard in a 1-0 loss to the varsity squad. Both teams played hard in the first half which ended with a 0-0 tie. With 22 minutes remaining, the varsity squad took a 1-0 lead on an empty net goal off of a miskicked goal kick. Although the club team had several opportunities, the club offense could not put the ball in the net and the game ended with a final of 1-0. Graham Smith came in as keeper with 15 minutes left when keeper Brandon Schneider suffered a major collision making a save which sent him to the hospital later on that night. While in, Schneider kept the club in the game with 14 saves. This is the first of several scrimmages the two squads will duel in during this spring season.
