Who are we?
Lynchburg College Men's Club Soccer is a college recognized organization created to provide students with an accesible competitive atmosphere to play soccer. We are under the supervision of the LC Club Sport Council.
The program, which was restarted in the Fall of 2007, is entirely run by students. The program offers students in the LC community an opportunity to join a highly competitive soccer program without the level of commitment required on the varsity level. Although the club is run through the Office of Student Activities, the program has full access to the school's many athletic facilities including Shellenberger Field, a fully lit Field Turf field which has been recently rennovated.
The club practices twice a week at night under the lights and competes versus college programs in and around the state of Virginia. Games usually take place on weekends and will sometimes include weekend playdays with overnight stays.
